I stumbled across prisonofficer.org thanks to a fellow colleague mentioning the site on our own prisonofficer.org.uk. Found this site last week purely by accident! Just typed prisonofficer.org.uk but left off the UK and I was in this American Forum on "Correction Officers" !! The site is very new and has ambitious aims. There are certainly many other ambulance sites out there so why choose this one? At the top of the site we have two front line medics who have seen heavy action. To illustrate their prowess we launched a diary section and I have been absolutely amazed at how much quality material has piled in there already! Please take a look at the site. I've been a member of NT best part of a year and can tell that most all its members have the utmost respect for Prison Officers and what they do. I am a member of prison officer.org.uk, and having spent over a decade in the army as well as the prison service I believe in and respect all disciplined services.
