JOIN THE BRITISH ARMY
Joining the Armed Forces is a huge decision, but one which I myself was glad to make when I was 16 yrs of age.
The Army helped develop my skills and gave me the confidence to face lifes many struggles face on.
A career in the Armed Forces is more than just holding a rifle, it has countless trades to offer, and when you are ready to leave the military life you will find your Army skills and qualifications will be sought after by civilian employees, who will understand that they are going to get a dedicated and well adjusted individual.
I strongly endorse this website's attitude to those that have served in the Armed Forces, and to the support and future employment opportunties offered by the various organisations that are more than willing to take ex-military personnel.
Achieve your goal of becoming a member of the British Army with this great, comprehensive guide. (click on "VIEW")
It is a product recommended by this site and will give you a superb head start in your application process

On P C S O.com last summer..... it was one of Gualsa's posts that made me think of doing a forum on Prison Officers. I then contacted Gualsa's boyfriend and lapmonkey9 for help on the project.
Early July last year saw this site launched, we have seen a lot of great members come and go - even in that short time
my colleague lapmonkey9 is a top serving HMP officer - thanks go to him in abundance!!! His expertise has allowed the site to develop with a certain accuracy that I am sure it would not have gained otherwise
I would also like to thank SENIOR MEMBERS: Carbon, Crumbling Victorian Cat B, bloggs01, sidney, NO to CSH, sharpe, Under valued and DUCKBILL for their substantial and professional contributions on the forums

I joined the PCSO forum last year to see what it was like to become a PCSO within the British Transport Police, I had a date for the entry exam but decided against this at the time. Falkor contacted me in the middle of last year to start a prison officer forum. Now we decided to go for prisonofficer.org.uk which is a great name i must admit. He runs all of the Aministration side where as i look after the topics, posts and you guys. It took us about 2 days to get it all set up properly if i remember correctly. Since then it has grow to a great forum for prison service staff and members of the public even Ex prisoners have interacted on this site.
We have some great members on here which Falkor has said and all the others which have not been mentioned THANK YOU!
I just wish the prison service would support this forum as we have helped many people choose to join the prison service as a career.
Thats all from me
Kind Regards
Steve
