« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:51 am »   hope you don't get too wet Doc, thanks again and have a good day my friend
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:50 am »   Many thanks
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:50 am »   Its been great, I have to go and stand at the side of a footbal field now in the pouring rain

« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:50 am »   thank you very much for giving your time - I have certainly enjoyed reading your replies, thanks again - I hope other members appreciate reading the interview, I am sure they will
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:50 am »   If they try to be something they are not their colleagues and prisoners will soon find them out
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:49 am »   Doc thank you for coming onto the AJAX AREA this morning, you were scheduled for a 20 minute slot and have tripled that handsomely
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:49 am »   Do not look around at other officers and think I want to do things the way he or she does, just be yourself
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:49 am »   what does that mean Doc?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:49 am »   and now he's an OSG in a CAT C right?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:48 am »   New starters should remember to be themselves
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:48 am »   Yes thats a good way to sum it up, when I walked through the gates 22 years ago, an old timer walked up to me, told me the job was errr knackered, asked how long I had to do, I replied 39 years, he nearly fell over laughing and wished me good luck
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:45 am »   sorry to hear that ummmm going back to new joiners, you said you saw yourself in some of the new joiners at your establishment, are the new joiners the same as you were Doc? same problems, same issues, just a different decade?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:45 am »   No I dont think cash is the issue, the PS has some excellent catering managers who, have contacts, good relations with local suppliers etc, the changes to central procurement have removed those benefits.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:43 am »   and that happened because of cash?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:43 am »   Prison food is deffo better than Hospital food, you get good meals you get bad meals, the last 10 years have seen a revolution in prison food...self select menus, however we have taken a step backwards with central procurement
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:41 am »   and have you eaten Prison Food? what was the last decent meal they provided to our poor prisoners?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:41 am »   Only speak from our establishment, it was dire when it started, its getting slightly better, but not as good as allowing local purchasing, from local suppliers.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:39 am »   sad, ok so Prison Food: what is the central procurement policy?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:39 am »   In all honesty there are abou tthree or four elements that all contribute to the reduction of staff expense (pay). benchmarking, Job Evaluation, Worcforce change, its all aimed at making HMP cost effective to attract private bidders. I know I criticise the NEC, but they are being attacked by NOMS on so many fronts its unbelievable
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:36 am »   what do the POA say? this has got to be the no1 issue surely!
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:35 am »   Its been ongoing for the last 10 years, round after round of re profiling of work ,downgrading of work, its getting to the point now that the cuts are dangerous for staff and prisoners.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:34 am »   keep cutting the staff - jesus - that is really appalling, I forgot about that, when did this staff cutting regime begin?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:33 am »   Its another resource issue, put in the resources and you could stop drugs getting into prisons, keep cutting the staff and who knows what will get into prisons
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:32 am »   what are your thoughts on DRUG USE in Prisons? what's the latest on this? or is it the same old same old?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:32 am »   Yes, but no one can find it, which is not surprising.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:31 am »   but when you joined.... you got an offer of employment right?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:30 am »   I like to try and keep them on their toes, I also asked for a voluntary redundancy projection this week, just part of the game
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:29 am »   you keep asking for yours Doc? are you kidding? you have 22 years service
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:29 am »   The Prison Service have always been good at clouding and fogging issues, whether this is delibeate or just comes naturally I dont know. new Starters will get an offer of employment, within that offer should be terms and conditions, once signed I would stick my neck out and say that would be the contract of employment. I keep asking for mine, but get no where
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:26 am »   oh right, 30 - 50 empty beds, sounds unreal, can we go back to the Prison Officer contract thing please? do new joiners actually GET a written contract?? I read this is not happening
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:25 am »   Difficult to weigh up, my prison has been carrying 30 - 50 empty beds since November last year, its a bit confusing, we will also see large chunks of new accommodation opening between now and the general election
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:24 am »   go to the local police station? wow I cannot see a Prison Officer doing that but maybe they should!
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:23 am »   Staff should remember that regardless of what your prison managers say, they always have the right to go to the local police station and report that they have been assaulted, they would always get support from their branch comittee
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:22 am »   nice one Doc, in your view, what is the overcrowding situation now? is it acceptable? is it improving?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:21 am »   Touch wood, we have fairly good staff / prisoner relationships, but it does happen and we do give advice and help with Crim inj papers etc
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:20 am »   do any of your officers come to you for advice after an assault?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:19 am »   They got together to produce posters with the NEC but the NOMs posters were rubbish, they did not even bear the "Zero Tolerance " slogan. Things might change when the current head of NOMS retires.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:18 am »   NOMS are not playing their part, how could they help?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:18 am »   No and it should not be, The NEC are making great efforts to start a well publicised Zero tolerance campaign against violence towards prison staff, shame NOMS are not playing their part
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:17 am »   I can imagine but Prison Officers assaulted by inmates: :slbx: can that ever be "part of the job"?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:16 am »   "decent people"
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:16 am »   Good Question, Lots and Lots, You appreciate your own good fortune, you do come across decent prison in jail, who through circumstance have made the wrong judgement and ruined their own and other peoples lives.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:15 am »   cheers for that, we just need MORE SODDING MEMBERS that's all, we have 1000s of guests but they're too scared to join
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:14 am »   I think the Forum runs well, is well modded, considering the potential for hostile posting and the fact that not all HMP staff are little angels
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:13 am »   Doc back to you, so 1988 that is 22 years service, boy that is huge, what do you now know that you didn't then?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:12 am »   yes MET POLICE took me to task alright but nothing from HMP (well not much anyway)
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:12 am »   You ever had any official complaints from the powers above
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:12 am »   actually it wasn't lapmonkey9 but you get the idea :P
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:11 am »   one of the members had a prison officer boyfriend "lapmonkey9" and one day he complained that there was no Prison Officer "forums"
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:11 am »   I did 30 years in the MET POLICE, started a PCSO site in 2004
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:10 am »   I guess that Falkor is not HMP so how did a web forum for prison officers come about
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:09 am »   please do
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:09 am »   Is it OK if I ask a little about Falkor and how the site came about
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:09 am »   yeah too right, think you got in 1, no hat either I'll be bound : well you have been a member on here for over 1 year now Doc, what could be done on the site to improve it?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:08 am »   Some people, I bet he doesnt wear a tie at work !
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:07 am »   yeah those 2 are classic but the boxer just won't have an avatar Doc, can you have a word with him?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:07 am »   Got to be Boxer Fan or Easylife, dont know the guys but they seem to echo my sentiments and always post balanced arguments
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:06 am »   oooo let's chunter back onto the forums for a mo  here's a good un, who's your fave member on here Doc?? :slcl:
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:06 am »   Its also a financial dilema for the Gov, they have a canteen contractor that makes its money selling tobbacco to a captive audience, could you see them staying in contract if all they were selling was penny chews and Mars bars
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:04 am »   The Isle of Man Prison Service is the way to go! no smoking no where no can do. but either way I can see big problems, real dilemma
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:04 am »   The H & S executive and other national bodies have taken up the cause with NOMS..Why should Prison Officers health be put at risk, no other worker has to suffer second hand smoke
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:03 am »   probably too much is out of his hands, dunno. And you are not happy with the The Smoking Policy PSO I read, what's the latest?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:02 am »   Yes, many times, he is a good guy, I just think that he has been away from Prison landings tooo long, he needs to get back in touch with whats happening and the effects that these imposed changes have on the pressures on staff in the prisons and the moral of our union
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:00 am »   have you spoken to him before then?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:00 am »   Didnt turn up, I will still press him when I meet him
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:00 am »   did he turn up Doc?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:59 am »   well it might happen one day, 7 weeks ago you said :"I think its likely that Colin Moses will be visiting our branch within the next 6 weeks, if it happens I will ask him his thoughts on coming to an arrangement with this web forum."
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:59 am »   They should just adopt yours
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:59 am »   Our NEC cant take critisicm, they havent got the bottle to open a Web Forum, just like they didnt have the bottle to ballot us on the changes to the CSCS ( redundancy structure)
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:57 am »   good advice Doc, here Doc The POA have been promising a POA Forum site for the last 2 years, why won't they just HAVE ONE? what's stopping them?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:57 am »   We need changes on the NEC, we need to look at the type of action available to us, we can start this week by voteing in the NEC elections, dont just leave your papers lying around in Tea Rooms, open them up and vote for TF.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:55 am »   jesus - what can be done?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:54 am »   A north East branch wanted action on the workforce changes, the NEC opposed this and spoke against the motion for action, they scared other branches into thinking action meant everyone on the street on strike tommorow, that was not what the motion was asking for, by being so weak the NEC are now being walked all over by NOMs
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:52 am »   what happened?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:52 am »   I am a committee member and attended last years Mansfield special delegates, it was an eye opener
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:51 am »   Doc are you in the POA? You must be for sure, have you gone to any of their meetings?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:51 am »   POA - We all whine and moan, me more than others but its still the best £13ish you will spend
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:51 am »   yeah - shame
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:50 am »   Things are changing in Prisons, Gate jobs have gone Comms jobs have gone, the censors, all the posts older staff used to hold have gone, fitness tests etc
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:50 am »   so let's focus on te POA for a minute, is it WORTH being in the POA?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:49 am »   25 years is very old school doc, you can go at 25 years but receive NOTHING until you would have had 30 ;-)
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:49 am »   Our Prisons are No place for old men
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:48 am »   No, its my choice, I would like the NEC to negotiate a contributory pension similar to the Police where, yes you pay more in but you get put out to grass after 25 years
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:47 am »   40 years? that is a disgrace surely
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:47 am »   I walked through the door at 21 years old, I have bought the missing year to give me 40 80ths - a half pension, I will finnish on half pay, after 40 years service
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:45 am »   I agree, BTW what is the projection for your pension? I think if I read right your pension will pay out in 16 years time?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:45 am »   No - Imprisonment is the responsibility of the state
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:45 am »   wow that is very interesting - do you believe there is a place for private prisons in the UK?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:44 am »   Our pensions (PCSP Scheme) gives us protectio if we become privatised, I found out that if a company bids to take over PCSPS members it has to provide a guarantee that our pensions will be "broadly similar" the Gov send in auditors to see if the company has the financial clout to take over our pensions and issues a GAD passport if they do, the bidders in this round do not hold GAD passports so its game over for now
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:41 am »   GAD passports? I am lost, what is that?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:41 am »   I did some work earlier this year on GAD passports, that work has contributed to the Market testing process stalling
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:41 am »   so how do Prison Officers become involved with Market Testing?or don't they?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:40 am »   The Gov are driving down the pay costs of HMP to make it more attractive to SERCO etc to bid for existing HMP jails
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:39 am »   I bet you are, hey Doc what are your thoughts on Market Testing?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:39 am »   yeah they are being pressganged for sure
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:38 am »   Quick Pick, I am not as good looking
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:38 am »   We have new starters relocating families, kids schoolls etc for this, times are desperate
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:38 am »   terrible. ok back to the forums .... Are you a Simpsons fan? or was the avatar a quick pick?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:38 am »   There or therabouts
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:37 am »   crazy and what kind of mortgage could a new joiner apply for? what was it you said? £51,415? :slwh:
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:37 am »   contracts are a very vague issue with HMP
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:36 am »   do new joiners even SEE a contract nowadays? :slnote:
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:36 am »   yes 14k is an insult to new prison officers
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:36 am »   Its similar but opposite to whats happening to new recruits today
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:36 am »   yikes that is more than what it is now!!!!
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:36 am »   basic prison officer, but the Fresh start pay bumped up the basic salary from 9k to 16k
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:35 am »   what post had you applied for then?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:35 am »   but I got a pleasant surprise Fresh start pay was a lot higher than the post I had applied for
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:35 am »   was that good or bad?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:34 am »   they had me on hold waiting for Fresh start to come in
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:34 am »   well you made it to SO, that is pretty good Doc
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:34 am »   so I waited, and waited and waited
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:34 am »   yes then the offer of a post came from HMP
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:33 am »   you said you were waiting for a home visit
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:33 am »   I had completed all my Police interviews
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:33 am »   yeah sounded impressive - we have a major unemployment situation in the UK and the employer brings in ROCK BOTTOM pay for new prison officers
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:32 am »   At that time the thing called Fresh Start was being introduced
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:32 am »   New Prison Officers are being pressganged, isn't that right?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:32 am »   cor sounds like another dimension now, £9000, I know you applied for both the Police and HMP at the same time
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:32 am »   I look at the new guys coming in now and it reminds me of when I joined
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:31 am »   Simple as that, joined in 1988 after a small ad in the daily mail offering £9000 a year, with pay rise pending.
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:30 am »   you have done well, so how did you wind up as a Prison Officer anyway? did you see an advert in the paper? or what?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:30 am »   Yes still an SO, thats Senior Officer, not team leader, not shift supervisor, still an SO until the powers that be try to decimate that rank
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:29 am »   right o and you are still a SO now right?
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:28 am »   Came about due to the fact that I was a nights SO in a pretty big jail, seemed to spend half of the night putting doubles on half of the night taking them off and the rest of the night patching up prisoners
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:27 am »   hehe ok Why the "Dr Doubles"? where does that come from? :slhehe:
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:26 am »   No, not a lot, maybe once or twice
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:26 am »   Doc welcome to the chat room this morning, have you chatted much in here? :slty:
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:25 am »   sheesh right on the spot GOOD MORNING
« Sun Feb 28, 2010 9:25 am »   Morning !!
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:06 pm »   nice one mate ,hope it all works out .
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:05 pm »   nah sod all really, pretty much shafted on that front. will just get on with it and carry on
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:04 pm »   Can you claim anything to help ?
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:03 pm »   ha yeah so far so good, kids are reaping the rewards. finally glad to have them on track. bloody killing me in the pocket though
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:00 pm »   Hows part time working out ?
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:56 pm »   I don't know where else you can get it, but I managed to get mine when on POELT as it was shown during our course
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:55 pm »   Sounds good mate ,where does that come from ?
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:54 pm »   just a film that follows YOI's from homelife/crime then into custody and their resulting lifestyles and experiences. pretty powerful
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:53 pm »   Whats that about ?
« Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:49 pm »   with ref the Out Of Control film, I was able to get a copy and thinking about using it for my kids when they get older
« Tue Feb 23, 2010 7:41 pm »   if it ain't broke,,,don't try to fix it
« Tue Feb 23, 2010 4:33 pm »   hello
« Mon Feb 22, 2010 12:20 pm »   hello
« Mon Feb 22, 2010 8:03 am »   Good morning all  just to clear up a couple of points from talking to Rick yesterday - first he found the AJAX was "hanging" and couldn't reply, please make sure that your computer is fully updated with JAVA by going to www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp SECOND Rick asked about how the site started, please go to about21.html to read the full lo down on that :-)
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 11:20 pm »   anybody online
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:01 pm »   I'm here
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 2:07 pm »   Sorry Falkor. You probably got more sense out of Rick anyway .sent you pm
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 1:39 pm »   lol anybody ??
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 1:38 pm »   hi
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 1:13 pm »   anybody here?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 1:12 pm »   hey all
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 12:44 pm »   a lot of new officers in Scotland currently going through SVQ's. Could be handy for them also
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 12:17 pm »   Rick, good idea ref the NVQ section, should imagine its going to be very busy!!
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:15 am »   OK Falkor nice talking to you I'm off to bed as well all the best Rick
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:13 am »   that is a long story and my porridge is waiting, thank you for coming on here though Rick, seems it was well worth it ;-)
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:12 am »   that was quick!!!! When I get up later I will start with something that I can spell and type correctly! What made you start the site?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:11 am »   Rick your new section is there  make a topic in there :-)
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:09 am »   ok I mentioned Sam ealier see what her opinion is. Am I banging on??
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:08 am »   haha this is crucial
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:07 am »   When u first join you use the application section and ask a prison officer quite a bit. After that you can feel a bit left out as the chaps with a lot of time in are talking about topics you may not have experienced yet, there can also be quite a bit of cynacsism so I believe thats where some drop out can occur having an NVQ SECTION would give the newer people somewhere to move onto. Sorry about spelling /typing tired head on!
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:03 am »   please do
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:02 am »   Not ironed out yet do you mind if i explain how i think a new officer/ officers may view the site?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:02 am »   thanks for coming onto the AJAX CHAT SECTION Rick, I know you had a few problems, how did you iron it out in the end?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:00 am »   Just completed I'm now in the process of getting it signed off and vairified I think you would have a lot of interested parties coming straight from the application section to the NVQ section quite a natural progression. Mine was like that anyway
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:58 am »   going back to the NVQ - how far along are you Rick? 80%, 90%?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:57 am »   No famous bods I think it was made for TV not sure if it was BBC or C4. Well worth a watch
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:56 am »   out of control? is it an actual movie? if so who's in it?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:55 am »   A really good movie I was shown during training about a YOI is called out of control if you have'nt seen it try and get it. very gritting British movie
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:54 am »   I realise that - thank you for persevering, it may work better in a different browser e.g. firefox
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:54 am »   Falkor is the chat room hanging I had trouble submitting
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:49 am »   crikey, nice one Rick - that sounds pretty real to me - so have you seen any movies that really show the Prison Officer role e.g. Green St 2
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:47 am »   Most "normal" people are not used to dealing with the type of people and the behaviour that you find in a prison. It take time to get used to it.
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:46 am »   Rick when I asked you what was the most difficult aspect of learning to be a Prison Officer for you? you replied "Dealing with offenders...." can you clarify? :-)
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:45 am »   test
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:42 am »   blimey you know Samantha?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:41 am »   Yes of course i've just completed mine and it would have been helpful to bounce off people as with the application process, run it by Samantha I think shes just finished hers as well.
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:40 am »   if such an area was started would you be willing to contribute material to it? sounds like a good idea alright
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:39 am »   Quireies and questions about the NVQ proecess, as all new starts have to complete it I would thought it would be quite a busy subject area
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:37 am »   an NVQ section? what would go in it?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:37 am »   Dealing with offenders and getting used to the organisation or sometimes the lack of! Can I ask now I have you in person have you considered having an NVQ section?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:35 am »   thanks Rick great to hear that, what was the most difficult aspect of learning to be a Prison Officer for you?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:34 am »   nearly exactly one year. Found the site very helpful particulalry during the application process
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:33 am »   how long have you been a Prison Officer Rick?
« Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:33 am »   Fine, bit tired after nights! not to worry last one tonight yipee

JOIN THE BRITISH ARMY
Joining the Armed Forces is a huge decision, but one which I myself was glad to make when I was 16 yrs of age.

The Army helped develop my skills and gave me the confidence to face lifes many struggles face on. A career in the Armed Forces is more than just holding a rifle, it has countless trades to offer, and when you are ready to leave the military life you will find your Army skills and qualifications will be sought after by civilian employees, who will understand that they are going to get a dedicated and well adjusted individual.

I strongly endorse this website's attitude to those that have served in the Armed Forces, and to the support and future employment opportunties offered by the various organisations that are more than willing to take ex-military personnel.

Achieve your goal of becoming a member of the British Army with this great, comprehensive guide. (click on "VIEW")

It is a product recommended by this site and will give you a superb head start in your application process
