  •   DreamHost wins the Business Choice Award for best Web hosting service for the third year in a row.

  • Dreamhost's dominating presence included outstanding scores in overall satisfaction, reliability, and likelihood to recommend/NetPromoter Score.

PCMag readers continue to shower DreamHost with love. The Web host deserves to boast with some fantastic scores. Its overall 9.0 (out of a possible 10.0 at best) is great !

  • hmmmreallyMon Aug 28, 2017 8:02 pm
I think if we did the first week in week 5 then went back to collage the information might go in a little better
  • falkorMon Aug 28, 2017 8:01 pm
Hehe sounds like they're throwing everything at you Andy !
  • hmmmreallyMon Aug 28, 2017 8:00 pm
Im sure we will be fine. Hard to say as theres so much to try and process corruption is a big subject
  • Andy888Mon Aug 28, 2017 8:00 pm
Not sure, struggled trying to work out the difference between corruption & missconduct
  • falkorMon Aug 28, 2017 7:59 pm
What's the most difficult section for recruits?
  • Andy888Mon Aug 28, 2017 7:57 pm
Yep, kind of wanting to know where my learning is at
  • hmmmreallyMon Aug 28, 2017 7:54 pm
Yeah thats what I'm using it for tbh
  • Andy888Mon Aug 28, 2017 7:53 pm
Yep, but still an indicator on what areas i might need to focus on
  • hmmmreallyMon Aug 28, 2017 7:52 pm
Andy don't get to caught up with the midterm mate use it as a reference point to your learning rather than a boost as if u don't hit that mark it could be a massive downer
  • Andy888Mon Aug 28, 2017 7:51 pm
Finding things are getting a little easier as the course goes on, hopefully the mid term will be the boost many of us need
  • hmmmreallyMon Aug 28, 2017 7:51 pm

  • MoredreadMon Aug 28, 2017 7:41 pm

  •   GOOD NEWS! In February 2017 Prison Officer ORG UK gained an SSL certificate!

  • During February 2017 this site began a journey to HTTPS standards, culminating in our SSL certificate and subsequent page by page audit, to check whether every inch of the site met the sometimes excruciating requirements of today's browsers e.g Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc

HTTPS provides authentication of the website and associated web server with which one is communicating, which protects against man-in-the-middle attacks. Additionally, it provides bidirectional encryption of communications between a client and server, which protects against eavesdropping and tampering with or forging the contents of the communication. In practice, this provides a reasonable guarantee that one is communicating with precisely the website that one intended to communicate with, as well as ensuring that the contents of communications between the user and site cannot be read or forged.
