Vetting timescale

Post by Drenai » Tue Apr 01, 2014 4:35 pm

Alright everyone!

I'm currently going through vetting at the moment for a post in a YOI.

Got an email letting me know that they've contacted my employers etc for references today, and another talking about my DBS coming to my home address, am I close to the end or not? I've seen that these things can take time, but things have moved pretty quickly so far for me. I just don't want to jack my job in then find out I've got to wait 6 months, any advice more than welcome!

If they are contacting your employer then you have a couple of months.. Once it is all in (and provided you pass)!local recruitment will contact you with a proposed start date.. This will be negotiable etc..

DON'T jack your job till you have a demented start date!!!!
He's not coming out! He has been a very naughty boy.!
