You don't actually tell vetting. You will complete an oh assist questionnaire. If they decide it is necessary you will have a further medical appointment.

You just need to be patient.. I waited 7 weeks before I heard anything and regardless to how many times you phone them, they will say just tell you to wait.

Try and relax and wait for the email/phone call.

If anything stands out in the vetting they will contact you by email and ask for further information.

Good luck and keep relaxed.

You will need to be patient.

I passed my RAD in March and didn't get the vetting letter until end of July.

Once you get the job offer and fill in the medical and vetting forms make sure you declare everything.

Tiger, no one on this forum can tell you if you'll be alright or not. And no one can tell you if you can send a GP cover note, you'll have to wait until your contacted, they might well request more information from you, when and if that happens you can ask about a GP letter. :slbg:
RAD 13/06. Pass result 14/06 :slyay: . Merit listed 20/06. Applied 2nd establishment 24/06, POST test passed 26/06. Conditional offer 11/07. Vetting starts 12/07. Passed vetting 30/10. Poelt 08/01 :slyay:

I'm sorry but I'm going to be brutally honest.

1st no one here, including me can tell you exactly as we dont work in shared services and we dont have all the facts.

You really need to think long and hard as the Job can be extremely stressfilul and can manifest its ugly head in multiple ways.
Anxiety
Short temper
Illness
Mental strain
Ptsd
Depression
Etc etc.
And that's from someone who doesn't suffer from mental health issues.

Now I'm not saying you will fail on medical grounds but be prepared to fail.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Be honest with yourself, your health ain't worth any job.

My mental health isn't serious. I don't have any of those & im unlikely to get them anymore than anyone else. I really don't want something so small & silly to affect my chances. X

You might not have any of them now but you could have in 12 months time.
