What you earn at college is what you earn after college if you stay on a 37 hour contract. As each establishment pays differently it's hard to say what your pay will be. At college I was taking home about £1700 while others in my section where taking home about £1200.

That is strange as it is below the lowest paid prison contracts of £20,751, they should take home £1,368.94 after tax and pension.

For others, you can go here - https://www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/

Put the salary, pension %, and any other deductions and get a breakdown of your wage from the year to the day.
