Need to remember the prison is ours we just let them stay there. So none of this it's there house or own space. You can't go to a hotel and spark up?

I vaguely remember some movie where tons of missing people were returned to the planet including Glen Miller although he was slightly changed and now played reggae

In some YOI they do get gifts, socks or little stocking filler type things. Staff will usually get a longer dinner there will be a little fewer staff on over the whole day because bang up is usually earlier. You will tend to find its harder to bang up the more difficult cons near the end of your day over the festive period.

We're also doing something different again this year for food. Last year I did a tapas which was amazing. This year with be a 3 bird game pie (pheasant, partridge and duck - all shot locally and prepared by yours truly), roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots and peas with a home made stuffing.

First day tomorrow

Post by Daveyjones » Sun Nov 12, 2017 7:30 pm

Sorry if this has been covered the search doesnt appear to be working on my phone, it just tells me it finds to may matching words no matter what I search.

I start my induction week in the morning and ive sorted my shirt, tie, trousers and boots etc ready and ive got my driving licence and photos ready. Do ineed to take anything else? I have a worrying feeling I will or am forgetting something so just want to find out what it is or confirm I have everything I need.

The photos you take with you are for poelt not your establishment I believe my paperwork states to take a passport or driving license on my first day and the photos on week 2 at poelt

Actually, I had to provide 2 x passport photos to my establishment last week for my HMPPS ID card.

And tomorrow I need to provide 3 x passport photos for POELT

That's aside from taking a licence or passport with as ID for entry through the gate.

That's all I needed, and on arrival at the gate they knew who I was before I even gave them my passport, as they had a printout with names and photos (which I can only assume they got from a copy of my passport from my original application), so was quick and easy with no issues.

They will be fine, we will show them how it runs!
