More than 41 hours

Post by anthony10 » Thu Sep 14, 2017 5:07 pm

Hi,

Sorry if already covered but can't see anything without scrolling through 1000's of pages.

Is 41 hours the maximum you can work or could you do more hours and get extra money.

Thanks and apologies if this is covered elsewhere.

Hi,

Thanks for advice.. got a wedding to save for so willing to do additional hours if offered. Just wanted to see if it was capped at 41 hours a week or the option for overtime was available. I'm not after extra hours all the time but I've no issues covering for someone or certainly helping if required

Contracted hours arw guaranteed. Pp can be cancelled at any time and can't be relied on, with recruitment the need for overtime will reduce.

Do a 37 you contract and payment plus@£22/hour.

We have had a few mew starters and around 30 more up to Feb 2018. People hub still Say even with those numbers you'll be able to pick and choose pp.
I do around 25hours a month pp and that's quite easy to achieve.
Zulu's at dawn is for prison officers only. Pm me for verification process

I'm in a red site and always overtime available paid at 22ph. They're also running ppm scheme if you sign up for extra 5 or 9 hours per week you get bonus on completion. Sounds alright but I did overtime in Feb n didn't get paid it until July so don't bank on getting it when it's due. No more overtime for me if I got to wait 5 months 😠

Is that a breach of contract? What does it say about payment for overtime?

It's BS when employers pull this rubbish. If they overpay you they're damn sure to pull it back instantly.

I don't know if it's breach but certainly fluffing annoying when you've done the work you expect to be paid. It wasn't just me it happened to everybody. Personally I don't like being tied into a 14 week pp scheme I'd just do overtime when it suits but I know from what others say the bonus is rarely paid on time either. All that happens then is everybody refuses overtime when they would of done it had they been paid properly
