Medical inefficiency or retire

Post by Fellameladfesta » Sat Nov 11, 2017 10:14 am

Good morning all,
A bit of advice is needed,Im currently 57 part time and pre fresh start.Im drawing my pension,I am also currently on restricted duties due to an accident at home and Im awaiting an operation.

I think they may well want to finish me up on medical inefficiency. Where do i stand.?
Q1. Will I get whats owing to me, which is basically just over 18months part time pension) when i finish or will i have to wait till Im 60 yrs old.
Q2.Would it benefit me just to retire, give my notice in.

I want to finish early next year any way.

I agree with the above comment ... I can't imagine they want to get rid of you there's a massive shortage of staff ... have you considered becoming an osg not as demanding I wouldn't imagine have a few years escorting people before retiring maybe ?
