Waiting for conditional offer

Post by sam82 » Thu Nov 09, 2017 1:14 pm

Hi
I took my RAD on 15th October and got the results back 2 days later to say I had passed, but I haven't received my conditional offer yet, is this normal? I have noticed most people seem to receive an offer within a day or two of the results or are these just the lucky ones? How long did you have to wait for an offer?
Any advice appreciated. I am literally checking my inbox (and junk mail) every 5 mins!

Mine took about 5 weeks to come through but not ti put a downer on thinks don't forget u are not guaranteed to get a conditional offer straight after passing rad you may end up on the dreaded merit list until a vacancy opens up for u

It can take in excess of 5 weeks sometimes for SSCL to have your results uploaded, there are cases where this has been longer, maybe try the RAD centre and see if they have sent your results off.
Fam visit then POST - 21 June
RAD - 12 July
RAD result - 14 July
Conditional offer - 17 July
Vetting - 18 July
OH Assist - 28 Sept/9 Nov
Waiting the call - 11 Nov :slyay:

I was on the list for 3 and a half month. It just depends on your RAD scores and whether the establishment has vacancies.

Thanks for the replies.
I havent been merit listed or recived a conditional offer. Was just wondering if this is a normal amount of time to wait or if maybe there is some sort of problem.
I know someone that works at the establishment I've applied for and they're crying out for staff.

Do you check your steria account? I never had an email to tell me I had been merit listed but my status did change on my steria. If you dont check it you soon will and once you start vetting you will check it several times a day for weeks.

I got my conditional offer a few days after my pass, see my signature.
But to be honest its anyone's guess, just like everything else.

it took me a long time to get my rad results and lots of phone calls and emails to chase.

i think for most its normally a few days but several weeks is not not uncommon like in my experience.

How do you know your results?

I've had the conditional offer, done the pre employment checks but haven't had anything implying results!

I had an email telling me my Rad scores, there’s nothing on steria that tells you your Rad scores.

Im in the same boat they keep saying it can take weeks but those on my RAD, and After have been receiving conditional offers or merit listed. I have phoned SSCL a few times. Today I had enough and asked for a manager funny enough, half an hour later they have just sent me an email saying that they have my RAD results now....thats funny, and I will be contacted this evening.

It is highly dis-organised, just keep phoning them.

What a coincidence they found your results straight away after wanting to speak to a manager!
How long in total from passing RAD to them getting your results? I am up to six weeks now. I phoned Wednesday and was told they were going to email straight away to find out where the results were and email me an update but never did. Beyond frustrated now

Familiarisation 05.10.17
