Hi olimf93,
Are you residential?
If so what’s the accommodation like?

Hi Jon,

Admittedly the accomodation is hit and miss in terms of standard. I've not had a good experience but others have said it is "acceptable".

Parking isn't too much of a problem if you're staying on site. If you're travelling in it will be a little harder to find space, but there is other space to be used on site in case.

Thanks bud, I’ve read the Hotel reviews on Tripadvisor and is doesn’t make the best reading ! I guess after 29 years in the Army I’ve slept in worse 🤔😃. What do you do for meals ? I know the Breakfast Box thing is included, but what do you do for lunch and dinner? Thanks for the heads up bud 👍

Hey no problem Jon. Yeah i've only got four years myself - it's nothing on your 23 but the accomodation is pretty similar to my early training days at Pirbright and Sandhurst. For lunch and dinners we gets things ourselves. There is a local off-license, sandwich shop and chippy about a 2 minute walk from the site. They are quite pricey. Warning about the chippy about 40% of those that use it come down ill.

There are some tesco's and subways etc nearby in Ascot, which is about a 5 minute drive. My suggestion would be to stock up on microwave meals for 4 days a week and then one of those days try and get out with your group and have a proper meal as it really is death by Uncle Ben's Rice and microwave meals.

Happy to tell you more. Just respond or pm me.
