I'll do it fitness I think
Not a running enthusiast but I've done some training and confident I can get through that
Maths and English I'm 100% confident I if there anything like the mock tests in the attachments I got on an email
Just the scenarios you can't 'train/practice' for
I've watched loads of videos and that's all I can do really

Hi! I'm sure you said that your RAD was yesterday. How did it go? I've booked my RAD at Manchester for the end of April to improve my fitness.

Also, could someone answer a Q for me. I've got all my documents to bring in to RAD but I haven't been asked to provide any references yet. Will I have to do this after I pass? I'm trying to work out when I should tell my boss to expect a reference request from another employer which will be awkward as I'll have to tell her probably way before I end up having to hand my notice in by the sounds of it?

Yeah it was
Was ok thanks
I was thinking I'd just about get through my fitness but to be honest it was easy and I barely broke a sweat
I'd been practising bleep test on a boggy football pitch running the 18 yard box which works out just over 16 meters and yesterday was 100x easier
Maths and English as expected not hard in any way and plenty time to complete
Sjt 🙈🙈
The instructors give you more than enough help and guidance of what they want from you BUT nerves are the devil and when you walk in the room your head can go empty and you can clam up
As hard as it is my advise would try try try and not be nevous read the packs over and over and listen to the actors and apply everything instructors have told you
If I fail it will be on sjt
As far as your documents I had an issue with this as info is not very clear
I went to the bank and got a morgage statement and bank statement printed
Because these was printouts and not posted to my house they needed to be stamped by the bank to validate them
You also needed two photos signed on the back (like a passport) even though I've read people say there not needed anymore luckily I took them anyway
And you need your passport and driving licence
No mention of references yet I think it will come with links to vetting forms if you pass your rad via email

I'm sure you'll have done fine! I convinced myself I'd failed the original POST and nearly died when I got the email. I think test situations play with your head, especially when you really want something.

The only thing I'm concerned about is the fitness. I've been a gym bunny since November but I am still overweight despite a 3 stone loss so far. I've asked my PT to do double sessions with me from next week and I'm smashing cardio at the gym. It's mind over matter.

I hope you get your results soon!!

Thanks
Honestly I'm sure you will be good with the fitness
On the field I was training on I could just get to the 5.4 mark but I honestly feel on my rad I could of got to around level 8 no problem

Maths 18

Surprised at sjt not best scores I've seen on here but I thought nerves got the better of me on the day so chuffed bits
Anyone know what the English score is out of?

Thanks goonermase
Only just scrapped it on assertion by 1 point
I know what I kept doing wrong but it's how I speak and will take some learning to adjust
Guess that's what's poelt is for
They told us not to be apologetic but I kept pulling them up on racist sexist language etc by saying "I'm sorry but ......."
It was said in an authority tone but starts apologetics luckily I got a pass

Ye I was a little light with em the first time I done rad then second time just corrected it an was a bit more authoritive. Doesn't matter how you did it anyway you passed and that's all that matters.

Hi ENF1234
I was given my start date on the 23rd as well. But still no contract. Need to hand notice in soon so they need to get a wriggle on.
