Prisoner Being disruptive for money - how to resolve?

Post by Quinton » Tue Nov 14, 2017 4:44 pm

Hi there,

During my interview, I had a scenario where a prisoner was being disruptive and selling drugs/weapons to fund money for people on the outside (close family).

What would be the best way to resolve the situation effectively and what would be the best way to acknowledge this bad behavior?

Thanks!

As this is a RAD test scenario you will not receive the information you are after as it puts you at an unfair advantage.
Fam visit then POST - 21 June

RAD result - 14 July
Conditional offer - 17 July
Vetting - 18 July
OH Assist - 28 Sept/9 Nov

Good, people need to pass by being themselves and not act it out!

I think you're looking for the correct response to help you successfully complete RAD. The problem with asking for the answers/correct responses is that you are then acting like someone else not yourself, when you are actually faced with these types of situations in real life ie when you are working as a prison officer, you can't turn around and ask another officer to take over from you or say 'what do I say to Them? ' these scenarios are created to assess YOUR natural ability to respond & deal with said situation, the examiners have already seen ours. Good luck
RAD 13/06. Pass result 14/06 :slyay: . Merit listed 20/06. Applied 2nd establishment 24/06, POST test passed 26/06. Conditional offer 11/07. Vetting starts 12/07. Passed vetting 30/10. Poelt 08/01 :slyay:

In short....
Why would I let you copy my exam so you can pass your exam.....

And leave myself open to an attack or violent situation because you don't know what to do.

Problem is someone will tell him he will pass and he will end up on the landing next to you. This worries me.

Not totally, you can tell someone the right response, but they need to 'deliver' it in the correct context too. Say it like it's rehearsed, it'll sound planned and unnatural.

At the end of the day, the RAD day is a measure of 'you' not whoever told you the right thing to say, you wouldn't get a stand in for the fitness test, so you shouldn't seek another's responses or answers to scenarios or questions either.

I would start off asking him how I can help increase his profits. Once he has replied id ask for 10% of the profit. If he messed me about id report him. I hope this helps.

You’re generous only asking for 10%!! I would of atleast asked for a 70-30 split in my favour 😂

To be honest, I only needed the first answer once and not 10 times after.

^ This is kind of what I was after.. I just want to know if I should find out further information before telling him I'd report it or tell him I have to report it first and try find out information first. Though in a real life scenario I would do the first one. Though I would not want to miss assertive marks for challenging the actor too late?
