I totally agree, if you're already in a current job why not wait, at least you have a steady income until you get your start date. It is so frustrating when you see people who apply and get through it all within a matter of weeks but it will be worth the wait! Almost 15 weeks and counting for me! :slzi: :slnuts:

Ok so it's the first day of my holiday arrived in Spain earlier today, just about to go to bed and I couldn't help but check my steria aaannddd my status has only gone and changed ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ what are the chances first day of holiday and I can't even call to see if I've passed vetting as probably cost me an arm and a leg. Sooo I've gotta wait two more weeks now to find out lol

I will let you all in to a little secret. The best way to know you have passed vetting os to wait until you have been called and told that you have passed vetting.

Seriuosly it's a waiting game and nothing more, every single officer serving has gone through the same process and you just need to be patient. In fact the process is quicker now than it was when I went through vetting.

If you have a specific question or query (not timescale) they will contact you. They responded to me in 15 minutes from MoJ-recruitment-vetting-enquiries@sscl.gse.gov.uk :slyay: :slyay:

Don't worry you'll get there eventually, it's so frustrating when it's dead silence, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders now that I know, hopefully not too long for you now!
