Vetting process query

Good afternoon all

I applied for the role of a Prison Officer back in May. I have just been waiting for my vetting to be cleared.

I have checked earlier today and the current status displays 'Your application is currently going through pre-employment checks with either higher level checks and/or Health outstanding.'

If anyone has been past this point, please may someone shed some light on how long their vetting took and what the next stage is, if possible?

I'm aware everyones application is different, however any sort of information would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks

Lee

Hello,

Mine was on this for 2 weeks, This means they are doing final higher checks that could be DBS or PNS or even CTC or waiting for health.

After this my status changed to... Dear ***** Thank you very much for your interest in PSP. Your application is currently being reviewed, and we will be in contact with you shortly to let you know the outcome.

This seems to be the new update just recently.

Although i am still waiting for my CTC clearance i have been given start dates and other paper work.

There are other threads on this topic, use the search function top right and you'll find more information.
